What is the 2025 ITS European Congress about?

The 16th ITS European Congress in Seville is organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe hosted by the City of Seville and supported by the Spanish Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, the Directorate General for Traffic, Andalusian Government, and ITS Spain.

The mission of the ITS Congresses is to raise awareness of smart mobility solutions among policymakers, experts and the general public. The ITS Congresses feature dynamic discussions with ITS specialists, across a top-notch high level programme, over 100 technical sessions, as well as an international exhibition and demonstration area.

Who are the organisers of the 2025 ITS European Congress and Exhibition?
What is the location of this year's ITS European Congress and Exhibition?

The 2025 ITS European Congress and Exhibition will be held at FIBES, Palacio de Congresos Sevilla – the reference space for development of major economic, cultural, social and professional events.

How do I get to the venue?

To get to FIBES from Seville Airport, delegates have several convenient options. Taxis are readily available and offer a quick, 10–15-minute journey to FIBES. Alternatively, delegates can take the EA Airport bus to Santa Justa Train Station and then transfer to a taxi or a local bus.

Where are the sessions organised?

The session room names will be listed in the Programme in Spring 2025.

Will there be a congress app?

Yes, it will be launched in Spring 2025 and be accessible to every registered participant – stay tuned, you will receive specific instructions via email!

When will I be notified of the status of my paper's or session's proposal?

Status notification to contributors will be sent in late February / early March 2025 with details about the next steps. Contributors will be notified to update their proposals closer to the Congress date. Guidelines on the sessions will also be sent in due course.

Do I have to register to the Congress

Yes, all Congress participants, including delegates, speakers, moderators, exhibitors, students and visitors must register and pay the appropriate Congress fee. Click here for more information!

What type of access passes are there at the ITS European Congress?

General Access Passes can be categorised in Full Congress Passes or Visitor Passes.

- A Full Congress Pass, gives you access to:

  • Opening/Plenary and Closing Sessions
  • Welcome and Farewell Receptions 
  • Technical Programme
  • Exhibition
  • Demonstrations
  • Coffee Breaks and Lunches 
  • You will be able to purchase tickets to:
    • The ITS Dinner
    • Technical Visits

 

- A Visitor Pass, gives you access to:

  • Opening/Plenary and Closing Sessions 
  • Welcome and Farewell Receptions 
  • Exhibition 
  • Demonstrations 
  • Catering is NOT included and can be purchases during your registration. Please note that the ITS Dinner and Technical Visits are NOT purchasable with this pass

 

- Exhibitor Pass:

  • Access one hour before and after official opening hours of the exhibition
  • Opening/Plenary and Closing Sessions 
  • Welcome and Farewell Receptions
  • Exhibition
  • Demonstrations 
  • Catering is NOT included and can be purchases during your registration.
  • You will be able to purchase tickets to:
    • The ITS Dinner 
    • Technical Visits
  • You will also be able to upgrade to an Exhibitor Delegate Pass. Exhibitors who are also speaking, will receive a dedicated communication.

I wish to register and would require a visa support letter. Can you send me one?

To receive your visa support letter, please complete your registration and payment first. Once we confirm receipt of your registration fee, we will issue your visa support letter. If your visa application is denied, you may be eligible for a reimbursement in accordance with our terms and conditions.

What are your payment options?

The online registration platform is a secured site. Major credit cards (American Express, VISA and MasterCard) are accepted.

If I book my Congress ticket online, how do I collect my badge?

One week before the Congress, you will receive a dedicated email with your personal barcode. Please save this email on your phone or print this out and bring this with you onsite to print your access badge. We will have self-print kiosks where you can scan your personal barcode and receive your badge. We will also have onsite support should you need anything.

Where can I review my registration information?

You will find your registration overview and receipt by clicking on the link in your confirmation email and logging in with the email address that you registered with.

Can I register and buy a ticket at the event?

Yes, onsite registration is possible, however the cost will be higher, and payment can only be done via credit card. No wire transfer or cash will be accepted.

I would like to register a group of more than 10 participants, could you kindly assist?

If you want to register a group of 10 or more people, you can become the group leader and secure your tickets for a €75 administration fee as well as receive 10% discount on all the registration tickets. As the group leader, you will need to specify the number of tickets you want for each category. For tickets such as Visitors and Students, where catering is not included, you will be able to add it during the ticket booking.

Please note that during your group booking, you will be able to book a time slot for a group pick up of your badges. Please note this is only available for group bookings and all badges will have to be picked up.

If I lose my badge, where can I get a replacement?

Your badge can be re-printed at the Registration Helpdesk for a 50 charge, to be paid onsite via credit card.

I have special accessibility needs/dietary requirements; can you accommodate me?

Yes, during registration, you may enter any special accessibility needs or dietary requirements in the designated fields. The Congress organiser will contact you closer to the event date to assist you in any possible way.

Is there a preferred accommodation I can book?

What language will the event be in?

The official language of the ITS European Congress is English.

Help! What kind of electricity is onsite?

Spain follows the European standard of a tension of 220 V, with a frequency of 50 Hz. The power plugs are the European standard electrical types, with two round pins.

Safety and Security

Please do not leave any personal belongings unattended at any time, inside or outside the session halls. We will have a ticketed cloakroom onsite where you can leave your belongings. The Congress Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants.
