A key outcome was a call for female industry speakers to step forward and actively participate in future ITS Congresses, reinforcing ERTICO’s commitment to fostering gender diversity within the sector.

Key Congress Partners amplify Gender Balance efforts
As part of the ITS Congress commitment to meaningful change, key partners of upcoming Congresses in Spain, Turkey and the UK, are integrating gender balance initiatives to ensure diversity is reflected at all levels on speaker panels, in programme content, and beyond. These steps align with ERTICO’s broader strategy to make inclusivity a core pillar of the Congress experience.
Spain
ERTICO, alongside Dirección General de Tráfico and ITS España, hosted a half-day event to highlight the role of women in the Spanish ITS sector. The discussion encouraged greater visibility and invited them to take the stage at #ITSSeville2025. Read more!
