Special Interest Sessions will mostly discuss work that is underway or recently completed regionally, nationally or internationally. Organisers must submit a plan describing how a chosen set of speakers would address key aspects of important topics – achievements, problems, trends, technology developments, policies, etc.
Strategic Future Sessions must address a forward-looking “blue-sky” type of opportunity or problem. They may make a case for launching new ITS initiatives. These highly interactive discussion sessions look forward and review options, problems, technical barriers, etc. rather than reporting on work that has been completed
All contributions must be submitted by 10 January 2025. No extensions will be granted, and late submissions will not be accepted.
Reviewers from the European Programme Committee (EPC) will use these criteria to select sessions:
NOTE: A separate call for Commercial Papers and Start-up Sessions will be announced at a later date. These categories will be open to exhibitors only. There will be a review procedure, and terms and conditions will apply for acceptance in the Congress Programme.
