Argos Mobility will present an innovative system designed to track the speed and type of personal mobility vehicles (PMVs), such as bikes, e-bikes, and e-scooters. The demonstration will feature a plastic tile measuring 1.5 by 1 meter embedded in the ground, through which users will ride an e-scooter and observe the data captured by the system. Leveraging an international patent, this technology provides instant and accurate data, significantly enhancing PMV control and law enforcement capabilities. This technology enables functionalities such as traffic regulation, counting, capacity control, and the ability to divert or temporarily close bike lanes. This initiative is part of a broader Smart City vision, aiming not only at traffic control but also at innovating solutions across various sectors, including logistics, ports, and airports. Already successfully piloted in real-world conditions in Valencia and Zaragoza, Spain, Argos Mobility aims to scale this technology to additional cities, fostering safer and smarter urban mobility.
